If you own a discontinued model it keeps working and we still support it. Manuals, replacement remotes and help with setup, network and warranty carry on as normal.

We do not publish trade-in values, because the offer depends on which model you have and what condition it is in. That is what the form is for.

What to get instead

There is no X6 and no direct successor to the X5.

• From an X5, Classic or Classic Anniversary: the Classic AI, or the PowerStation 6 16GB for considerably more power
• From a U5, if you relied on the internal hard drive: the PowerStation 6 16GB, which takes an M.2 NVMe drive instead
• From a PowerStation 6 8GB or a P6 UnLimited: the PowerStation 6 16GB
• From an older XRS or E1/E2: almost any current model is a large step up
• If mainstream streaming apps matter: the G-Series, which is Google certified
