How to pair your BuzzTV remote (IR vs Bluetooth)

Until a BT-400/BT-500 remote is Bluetooth-paired, it works in infrared (IR) mode — you must point it directly at the front of the box. Pairing over Bluetooth gives you full-range control.

Pair over Bluetooth

Open the BuzzTV Smart Remote app and tap "pair bluetooth remote." Note: "paired" is not the same as "connected" — check Android Settings > Remotes & Accessories and confirm it shows connected.

Reset the remote

Hold D-pad Down + 0 for about 4 seconds until it blinks.

Tip: the ARQ 100 does not pair — it uses a USB dongle. Each Bluetooth remote binds to one box at a time.
