How to record live TV with PVR and PVR+

To record what you are watching: press the red button on your remote to start, and again to stop. Depending on your provider you may need to stay on that channel for the recording to keep running.

To record something later: find the programme in the grid EPG, select it, pick the recording type and confirm. The box switches channel and starts on its own. The PowerStation 6 will wake itself to record if it is off when the programme starts.

The PVR menu (main menu > PVR) has four options: recordings, create a recording, scheduled recordings, and PVR options where you set the storage location.

Where recordings save: most models record to USB. The U5 takes an internal hard drive, and the PowerStation 6 and P6 Unlimited take an internal NVMe SSD.

Which models record: the B5 and L1 do not. On the G-Series, PVR and PVR+ work through the BuzzTV 6 app. Everything else records.

Recording stops when you turn the TV off? That is your TV switching the box off with it over HDMI-CEC, not a recording fault. See recording stops when I turn the TV off.
